Justice programs

Grounded in harm minimisation, our Justice Program delivers harm reduction and demand reduction strategies through structured group and individual support. This page includes artwork and participant reflections from the program, along with a governance overview for organisations seeking clarity around delivery, boundaries, and continuity of care.

Justice Program Governance Overview (Downloadable Document)
This document provides a clear, governance-level overview of our justice program model, including how the program is delivered in custody and how it can continue post-release where feasible. It is designed for corrections and justice stakeholders, partner organisations, and community services seeking role clarity, delivery structure, and clear program boundaries.

The overview is structured in four parts:

  • Part 1 — Scope and Program Positioning
What the program is, what it is not, voluntariness, and documentation boundaries.
  • Part 2 — Program Architecture and Delivery Model
Group and individual formats, session structure, and phased throughcare sequencing.
  • Part 3 — Practice Model, Professional Boundaries and Credentialing
Definitions of psychoeducation, AOD counselling, creative psychoeducation methods, and scope limits.
  • Part 4 — Governance, Risk Management and Information Framework
Escalation pathways, information handling, cultural safety commitments, staffing considerations, and continuous improvement.
